Hi! My name is McKenna Albrecht, and I am a senior graphic design major at Abilene Christian University. I am from Boerne, Texas. I found my passion for graphic design in college, though I have always been passionate about the arts. I aim to take on any project and challenge myself with new things. Feel free to look at some projects I've posted, and let me know if you have any questions.

While I would love to tell you all about my graphic design projects, I am not confined to those things alone as an artist and designer. Throughout my life, I have had as many interests and hobbies as I could have time. Most of them were creative to some extent in very different ways, such as robotics, interior design, writing music, band, jewelry making, and drawing. Upon the start of Covid-19, I had more free time and even more hobbies and discovered my passion for fine art. I started making time to paint and sculpt and fell in love with it. Until now, I had never had any technical training, but for the first time, I gave fine art my best shot and made a discovery. Art and design almost rely entirely on creativity, practice, and how you look at the world. I learned to slow down and look at the world around me. From there, I chose to make a career in this field and changed my major to Graphic Design. I started learning graphic design to one day use these skills through my passion for design and music by branding musicians. I have continued to follow my love of graphic design by creating for things that I love in my free time. My favorite designs to create are tour posters and album covers, and a lot of my free time goes into practicing this through my favorite artists. I also spend much time designing as the design director for my sorority. I love using graphic design to express the subject's personality, whether a brand, an organization, a musician, or a company. My goal as a designer is to make designs that connect to the mission and personality of a client or subject in a creative and personal way.

Outside of graphic design, I have technical training in other aspects of media, such as videography and photography. I have taken classes and fallen in love with illustration, painting, sculpting, and drawing. The more I use my mind in different creative mediums, the more I venture into my designs. I always love learning new aspects of art, design, and advertising; every opportunity is a new challenge. I would love to connect with you so we can work together.
